The manual clutch assembly functions under very difficult conditions in the automotive power train. - Clutch is noisy when pedal is fully released- engine running.
- Excessive pedal pressure.
- Rapid clutch disc wear
Service
- Remove a clutch from a vehicle
- Clean and inspect clutch components.
- Check clutch housing for misalignment.
- replace a clutch release bearing
- Install a new pilot bearing
- Install the clutch
- Service the clutch and slave cylinders
- Bleed the hydraulic clutch system.
